I strung myself out again
Wearing myself thin as I can
With just enough rest to get by
With every ounce of myself
Ive spread out
So far I can't see what Ive become
I see clearer and hear
finer and fonder things whisper to me
I'm alive
it all started over and over
the same thing is beating nside
and it passes on me
small things look back into me
saying things to show me
im in with the bucket
i tripped into a hole and now i have fallen
pretty good view of what it looks like
seems like its been days but I'm alive
With every ounce of myself
Ive spread out
So far I can't see what Ive become
I see clearer and hear
finer and fonder things whisper to me
Been following Somos for many years, feeling that they had an opus in them...well, here it is. Driving pop-punk sensibilities lend an upbeat tone in contrast to the grim lyrical proceedings, and they absolutely pull it off. Evocative music that's been on repeat for me all month long. RIP, Phil PaintedDogs
